Rumored Motorola Inferno renamed to Torch, headed to Verizon

The Motorola Inferno is rumored to be a touchscreen cell phone that is supposedly heading towards Verizon Wireless later this year. Word has it that this unannounced handset has also been renamed to the Torch.

Possible reference to new iPhone found in latest firmware

A few industrious folks have dug around in the new iPhone firmware that was released yesterday and found a reference to what could be the next iPhone model. A reference to iPhone2,1 was found, while the current iPhone 3G is referred to as iPhone1,2.
